    Pretty good stuff here.

There's just on thing I didn't see in the OP, which might help the more technically inclined:

Locking Down Your BIOS / UEFI

    1. Turn off your computer, open it up, ground yourself and very carefully super glue your CMOS Battery and any CMOS reset switches into place. A little bit of glue goes a long way, don't just pour it all over sensitive and expensive electronics.

(If your computer is 3+ years old, it's probably a good idea to put in a fresh battery before doing this)

    2. In your BIOS setup, set your Hard Drive as number one in the boot priority, remove any other devices from this list altogether if possible (CD/DVD drive, removable USB drives, etc.)

    3. Disable the BIOS boot menu if possible

    4. Set a long and random "BIOS Setup" password. Give it to someone else or put it on lockbox.pluckeye.net

(Make sure this is just the password to access the BIOS menu and not a "boot" password, otherwise you'll need to provide this password every time you boot up your computer)

Here's the rationale for doing all this, don't click if you don't want to know:
Are You sure you want to know? Please search your heart for the answer.

    Are you sure bro?

This prevents you from just booting another OS or reinstalling your current OS.

Pluckeye by default will block you from downloading any .iso files which can also be helpful if you know how to do this.

Thanks @uGes! But it was my fault. In an attempt to improve fapsecure security, I made some files non-readabe by the OS. I'm still working on a fix.

Thanks for sharing! This is very helpful indeed! A few years ago, I used to lock my DVD drive inside a lockbox lol. Your way is definitely better but is a bit risky as you'll get into serious problems if you lose the password. Thanks!

Hi thank you for this but the Extra Still doesn't work for me. After doing the said steps and going to "Find My" app, there is the Enable Find My option and I still can erase my iphone, even though it is indicated in Find My app that Location Services off. Erasing my iphone through Find My and through Recovery on Itunes on Laptop is my problem now. How do I fix the Find My problem? Thank you!

okay, since you have no problem with wiping your phone, I suggest that you use imazing to get your iphone to enter supervised mode. Then use imazing profile manager to make a profile that disables find my app. Imazing could password protect profiles, so you won't be able to remove it. Regarding recovery mode, I am still researching about it. You could just block itunes, isn't that enough?

Okay, first time hearing about iMazing(not that techy here), but I'll research about it and follow your suggestion. Yes I'll always visit your thread for updates for the recovery mode. Thank you so much! appreciate it.

  10. To confirm for iOS 12+ versions the iMazing app can block specific apps forever when it is supervised right .. ? Personally Google App and Apollo for Reddit app is a problem.. Can Imazing setup a permanent DNS for iOS 12+ ..?

You don't need it to be supervised to block apps when you're on iOS 12 because you could protect the profile with a password. You can't protect profiles with a password on iOS 14 except when you're on supervised mode. Apple made that update because of the introduction of new restrictions in iOS 14 update, so it's safer to not have locked profiles.
On iOS 12, you could use Algo VPN to make your own VPN with your custom DNS then host it somewhere. I have read that you could host it on Amazon EC2 for free up to one year, I haven't tried that, yet. You could edit the following profile and replace the values with values from your own VPN:
    https://github.com/trailofbits/algo/files/3536705/AlwaysOnVPNTemplate_AlgoVPN.mobileconfig.zip
You don't need supervised mode on iOS 12 to lock profiles
On the other hand, iOS 14 supports DoH and DoT, you could edit the following profile to use your custom DNS:
    https://github.com/paulmillr/encrypted-dns/blob/master/adguard-https.mobileconfig
This one requires supervised mode, if you want to lock the profile.

  14. Man I didn't know anything about iOS config and supervision. Need some time to wrap my head around it. Now, my iOS 12+ is set up so that I can't install new apps and can't reset... SO what do I do now ? Should I use iMazing to reset and set a profile or config? Once my iPhone is reset .. how do I prevent new browsers from being installed ?
    Thanks

If you want to allow App store while blocking all browsers, you will need to get the BundleID of all browsers on the App store and add them to your mobileconfig. That will take some time time. Blacklisting BundleIDs require supervised mode.

Hey, I wanted to ask if you know how to remove Ubuntu or any other OS in your PC. Just in case.. Do you just have to reset it or any recovery disk is required? Thanks

  19. Thanks for informing .. It's just that I have tried hosts file and It is not that good at all. Personally it didn't work for me.. and Microsoft Family Safety is good for limiting windows apps and only manages Edge browser (bad privacy). You could use FortiClient to block URLs.. it is better than Hosts file editing

    Check this out:
    https://imazing.com/guides/how-to-supervise-iphone-ipad
You could uncheck " Allow pairing without without supervision identity". This should prevent any PC from connecting to your iphone.
Then you could lock that supervision identity somewhere but that's a bit risky if you don't save the supervision identity in a safe place.
