Added you As for all that joined and anyone"looking". Getting a head start on another fruitless New Year Resolution is what we're after. Everyone can wake up and say "I'm going to stop eating bad", "I'm going to work out more", "I'm going to volunteer more", "I'm going to stop wasting money", I'M GOING TO QUIT PORN AND MASTURBATING...etc... But the fact is that the date doesn't matter. We start TODAY. Let's go. By the time NYD gets here, we can have some solid habits forming. A mental shift is all we need to be successful at DECIDING what we want more. Gratification or satisfaction ? Compulsive behavior leads to instant gratification that brings on subsequent, arguably STRONGER negative feelings like remorse, shame, and guilt. Satisfaction that we choose the right course and stick with it however; that goes so much further than "NoFap and No porn". It affects our brain activity. It brings positive endorphins. It cuts the dopamine overload cycle off at the head. We all came to NoFap for the same reasons... weather we understand why we need it so badly or not is irrelevant.

Normally I'd use nautical references for reasons unknown to even me Remember NoFap rules for this event begin on 22 SEP starting at 0001 or its a strike. 21 SEP is a non recorded/ measured day. Everybody right now can hit 107/108 days if you're green today still like me. Terms I use often.... ( Not just in this challenge though). This challenge us a hard mode Challenge. See the original post for rules if unclear. Green Day. No sexual compulsive acts. Amber day. MO without the use of porn or imagery. Just imagination...often leads to relapse. Red day. Relapse. PMO. 1 occurrence or 50. That day is a red day. I personally count days from midnight - midnight (wake-up to bedtime). If I PMO at 6 am, I count the while day as a loss and set my counter to 1155pm. Why not 1159? It's just easier These are just my personal preferences and habits to manage my recovery tracking and my mindset towards progress, successes, setbacks, and failures. YOU DO YOU!!!

Hope all are well. The bigger concern with "soft starting" this challenge is to get that feeling of a free pass today all week and begin "tomorrow".
