Yeah I've tried to recreate it but I just sound like an asshole when I do it

 

It's like a talent, either you have it either you don't. No training in sarcasm. .
It's sad because he also used sarcasm as a mask for his personal problems, but he was a good guy in the end

 

My fellow aviation buddy Zig is gone. Just noticed this morning.

 

This makes me sad. Makes me feel like they’re moving on with their lives and I’m still stuck. At the same time I’m happy that they’ve reached a point where they don’t need this forum anymore, be that the case.

 

That’s the most optimistic way to look at it. Many are probably quitting trying to get better.

You are correct. That is a blow. There are people here who are so important to the feel of this place, and for my money she was one of them. We often disagreed but her unique perspective was always principled and thought provoking. Plus she was was the most feminist anti-feminist one could meet. I will really miss her.
