I finally completed the 90 days challenge a week ago moving on to the next level. I wish you guys success in your journey
Day5 starts today. This will be my first chaser effect day during my challenge. I know it’s there and I know it can be strong. A busy day at work should keep my mind occupied.
Make that day 0. I ventured into a fantasy that I shouldn't have and that led me to reading some stories. It didn't get to real M, but it was wrong nevertheless, especially the fact that I started fantasizing because I was having trouble focusing. I was feeling like I had really progressed a lot in the last few weeks. Now it's time for me to prove that progress and get back on track right on time to still reach the 90 days in 2020.
It was a tough day, but I learned to use a move to stay onboard: If you are on the edge to relapse because you can't stand it anymore, start to think how LOW you will feel after you've come! Here I am still with two weeks done...
Day 19/90 Day 612 attempting this challenge Day 214 weight training (M, W, F) Lifestyle: reduced caffeine, alcohol and sweets
I think of this as "time-shifting". Instead of just reacting to the moment you're in (frustrations, urges, fantasizing, etc.), try to let your mind shift forward and literally not just think, but FEEL the results of repeating that same cycle you're considering. You KNOW how you will feel, it is no mystery, you've been there too many times before. That disincentive can help you then just float through those tough minutes or hours until you're back in calm waters again.
