    Thank you for your well thought out reply. I found it helpful and good food for thought. I'm sure it will manifest positively in my life meditation and journaling practice

    Quick check in again, more family time today. Limiting my online time. A little tired due to sleeping later, but still taking it easy and hanging out.

    Oddly enough, I have had video games flashbacks in the last few days. For the record, I haven't played them in 6-8 years, if not more. Seems my brain is craving some easily attainable dopamine hits.

    Keep training!

    Day 26
    Mood 7/10 & Energy 7/10

    Almost a month of zero erotic online stimuli. I'm very strict on this: even if I would google a pornstar name or whatever I would already count that as a relapse. I know because I remember that as soon as I start the online pursuit I already feel my dopamine rising like crazy: heart pomping, feel my body trembling lightly and getting a dry mouth because my brain knows it's going to get that "hit" that made and kept me sick for years. So for me no porn videos, no nude pictures, no searching porn stars or anything not even visiting websites where I know I can find women in underwear or bathing suits. I remember once I was going through an escort website, got heavily turned on by a lady's pictures. When I visited her and saw her in real life, I had trouble getting hard... then you know your brain is rewired to the pixels on your screen :'(

    Feelings of sadness has dropped a lot luckily. I meditated a lot and took some long walks and had another good night sleep last night. That helped. What does not help is watching video's on YouTube (only social media I use), browsing the Internet or try playing a video game (I got for nostalgia reasons an old version of counterstrike but usually I quit playing after 5-10 min nowadays).

    I've removed all my dating app accounts & applications and am now completely disconnected from online dating. Which is quite nice (more peace & less stress) and difficult (no more (false) hope of meeting "the one") at the same time. But I think in the long run better for me: the time, energy and especially emotional stability I am now saving, I can spend on REAL things: go out meet people, dancing, going to events in real life and be more energized and less distracted because there is nothing else (digitally) that is occupying my mind. Let's wait and see if my hypothesis is right in a few months. Hope this might inspire you all to maybe try this out as well since I believe online dating has become toxic for both parties (men and women).

    Much of the same, did not do all that much. I am starting to plan things for the New Year, what I'd like to achieve and update my schedule as well. It's important to reflect on these things brothers. Be active in what you would want to achieve in life, that starts with the, seemingly, smallest of goals. This will lead you down the path of tackling the more complex ones. Momentum, will bring you forward. I remind you, we overestimate what we can do in a day and underestimate what can be done in a year.

    Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself. -George Bernard Shaw

    Keep training!

    @Lexro84 Thank you brother, yes the more "artificial" bursts of dopamine activities is what has warped the mind of today's society. Leaving us with high cases of anxiety and depression. Mastering this is very important. I just found it funny that something that I ditched a while back, resurfaced with such pull. The brain wants its hit and it will compensate one junk food for another.

    @Ūruz Welcome brother!

    @Yambo Awesome gif!

    @Yambo thanks for the positive, inspiring message!
    @Lexro84 I agree with your last paragraph. I've also given up on online dating and feel all the better for it.
    That is exactly what I needed to hear. As I have posted here before I am a bit lost these days about what to do in my life.
    But focusing on the small goals immediately in front of me should eventually lead me tackling the bigger ones.

    I will spend today disconnecting from screens, I aim to read and meditate.

    @Against_the_demon_in_myself Exactly this brother, completing these smaller goals will give you the momentum you need. As long as you remain active in that pursuit, you will find what it is that you find that resonates with you.

    @Baki Hanma Congrats on ascending!
