    Day 45
    Mood 8/10 & Energy 8/10

Had fun date yesterday with a pretty lady that really turned me on physically (so happy about that!) and had a good night sleep last night. Woke up refreshed and happy. Enjoying my morning and life and I notice that for days I just "forget" to think about porn / escort or this challenge I am working on. I believe this means I am getting closer to actually healing: it is residing more and more to the background. Everything you keep thinking about grows in strength. Even thinking of NOT doing it still gives it strength in your brain. Because to deny something you first need to confirm its presence. So that also explains why my intervals of posting my progress has reduced: It's just loosing its grip on my attention / thinking process.

I just want to (re)mention how happy I am that I actually got turned on by my date yesterday. It is a totally different way of feeling turned on compared to being turned on by pixels on your screen: more calm / warm and less frustrating feeling of being turned on. I think it's mixing dopamine with endorphines because I am not only looking forward to "get my fix with her" but also looking forward to be with her and to just hug and touch her.
I still remember the bad old days when I was dating women I objectively knew they were gorgeous but even when I was kissing and touching them I felt nothing happing in my body. But when I turned on porn the day after "everything worked fine"...It left me so confused and frustrated and I panicked about it a lot during those days...so grateful to finally have found the cause.

Keep fighting the good fight my brothers and never stop learning!

Very good! People need to be aware that nex to junk food there is also junk content that is not adding any benefit to your life / health / happiness. Only in controlled moderation it is " oke-ish". However I believe: the less you expose yourself to those things the better you'll be(come).

@Person_Need_To_Change, this post will be long and is for you, so read it entirely. I'll give you some steps to follow to help you overcome the addiction.

    1. Go here: Under 20 | NoFap® and create an entry called something like "My journal".
    2. Then create a post where you'll write why you want to quit porn. You can list positive things to gain and negative ones to leave. Some examples:
      1. https://forum.nofap.com/index.php?threads/not-going-back.322494/#post-3449855
      2. https://forum.nofap.com/index.php?threads/not-going-back.322494/#post-3262918
      3. https://forum.nofap.com/index.php?threads/reboot-log-of-yambo.317152/
    3. Watch this when you have time; it tells you what porn makes to your brain:
    4. Every time that you relapse will come here and write the steps that led you to relapse and what you'll do to avoid it in the future. Then you'll write in your journal another post with a rule that will help you next time. Example:
      1. Today I relapsed because while I was studying late past 12, I was tired and followed a trigger through the relapse.
      2. For the next 90 days, I won't go to bed late and, if I do, take measures to avoid a relapse.
    5. THE MOST IMPORTANT PART rewrite your brain to help you against the urges. Every day in the morning, you will come here and write a post telling what could be your triggers for today and what you will do if you have an urge. Then you're going to write, "I am doing this because", and write why you must quit porn. Do not copy them from your journal; instead, let them flow from your mind. Not every day you'll write the same reasons. Example:
      1. Today I'll be home alone, and I have to study hard. If an urge arises, I'm going to go for a walk or write an entry here (in this case entry you must say what you are thinking at this moment, what is happening); I am doing this because I want to quit porn to have the focus to bright in my studies to get the proudest looks in people eyes especially my parents.
    6. Make a list of everything you'll do this 90 days to help you not have a relapse. Example:
      1. Uninstall Instagramm, tiktok, etc
      2. Do not go to the bathroom with my laptop or phone
      3. If I am studying in my room and there are more people at home, I'll be sure not to close the door.
Porn addiction is the most difficult addiction to deal with, so it needs to be tackled with methodology, not only willpower.

Being responsible is a habit to acquire, and it is much harder at your age when it only affects you. When you have people that depend on you, you must be responsible for them; it is somewhat easy to be responsible.

Nobody thinks that you are shit; your parents are only pushing you because they want you to succeed.

And you will be. You, at your age, are taking a huge step in realizing that you need to quit porn. And this is not your fault; it is a crime that kids/teens be exposed to this hardcore material when your brain is in the middle of development.

Be kind to yourself, raise your head and keep walking. You are a great guy, don't forget that and don't let anyone tell you the opposite, ok?

    Checking in Saiyan's!

    0 Days Free of PMO

It seems I reached my limit on this round brothers. Apologies for letting you down. I relapsed shortly after my last check in, thrice within 2 days. Twice as full PMO and once with just MO. Chaser effect, although I have managed to regain some footing.

After careful assessment, it would seem the intense build of stress this week got to me. That paired with flirting with this girl lead to a progressive and exponential accumulation of urges. I was also just numbing myself out with cheap dopamine that day, various sources which I believe just kept me on a consistent demand. I feel myself tempted again. I suppose the chaser effect is in play, I will have to be extra vigilant for the next week, rather the next month. I will not allow myself to fall for 4-5 months as I did last relapse, nor will I withdraw as I did last time. I have opted to reinforce blockers. I will allocate 1 hour a week to study nofap and the harms of PMO again, seems part of this will have to be a return to basic to reinforce the habits that take me on a longer streak. I’m also not beating myself up for falling, last time was wallowing in self-pity and taking away from my energy by being mad about the relapse. I also do not believe that what I have gained thus far is gone, relapse is part of the journey and I will stand again. There is still much that I need to learn, but I am willing. It’s time to climb the mountain once more. Although I am 24 hours clear, I am setting this day as my day 0.

    Keep training!

@Against_the_demon_in_myself I use to do it all the time when I was studying, I will definitely add that to my work routine now. I did 5-10 mins off every hour today. I would meditate and then walk around to get some blood flowing. Although I missed some hours.

@Kingfisher I recall at first seeing you hit 90 and rest, then in the 100's and so on. Now going past your further record. You are an inspiration, for both your streak dn for getting back up quickly when you fall brother. Now that I have fallen, my question is what fuelled this/what were your thoughts?
