No MPO for 7 days! There was intrigue when shopping and one time I turned around while driving to look at a woman. Taking it one day at a time.

    Day 4 - successful!

The urges were there, but I had to change my thought train. So I went out, drank water and listened to what feels like 'emotional pain' each time I resist the urge! Oh but I'm grateful I didn't give in.

I will admit though, I don't feel like I'm making any progress. Even though im doing all that I can to keep moving, I don't feel anything 'happy'. Idk if I'm making sense?
I will not give up though. Feelings can be misleading,I hope one day il wake up extremely proud of myself!

Day 4. No urges again yesterday, because I was again away from my computer and my upstairs office the whole day. It's clear that staying away from that computer is the most effective way not to think about P and M.

Of course, that room and that computer is where I have to spend most of my time now that I have to work from home... So being in that room and still resisting the urges that being there causes is the challenge I have to face. So I will face it. And no matter how often I will fail again, I will be successful in the end.

I joined this forum 175 days ago. Of those 175 days, I was 156 days without P.

    14 days complete. Two weeks...

This has generally been a difficult season of my life. Normally, I think it would have been very difficult to resist urges at a time like this. Currently, what's driving me is the belief that I can be a more powerful person, that I can choose my future. I don't want to give my power away to traps and addictions like pornography and alcohol abuse. I don't want to live a life where I run in the same circles over and over. I believe I can change that pattern. I believe I can access the power within me, the power to choose. This is what's keeping me afloat right now. I am powerful.

Day 12 nearly done. It’s 6:30pm where I live. Thanks for the guy that explained why I had that weird dream It makes a lot of sense now. Any way today was a great day. I worked on a coding project and had a great workout. I’m currently reading a book called the girl with the dragon tattoo and it’s really good. A new benefit is that I show more emotion towards people (like my siblings .ect). Thanks for this community of support , I love you all. bye

Have you tried going off social media and meditating? It’s how I finally made progress

  11. I think it is true. We have to remember this at trying times, when our brains want us to forget and get lost in the moment.

  12. @Merry Terry this is a great lesson, thanks for sharing!

I am reporting on day 77/90. I spent some time cleaning the house and organizing my books during the weekend. And today I feel happier! haha. I really believe order and cleanliness can help against PM, and this applies to everything: our house, the place we work, our mind, etc. And the opposite may also be true: mess and disorder may affect us negatively. This is because our mood changes, so let's help ourselves a little!

12 days complete! Today I’m feeling less intense urges than yesterday.

Yesterday I kept thinking about this one model and whether there would be any new material of her.. which made me realize how FOMO/novelty seeking is a big part of this addiction!

I’ve seen this happen on a P forum.. guys who go nuts if some girl they’re obsessed about doesn’t release new content. Getting into fights with other members, writing crazy long posts about a woman they’ve never met in real life.. I’m starting to see how messed up that really is!
