Day 80

Hey guys. Quick update. I feel less pressure now and I feel as though I can go 90 days and beyond. I do need to remind myself that there's nothing but pain that comes from P. When I'm this far in I forget how painful relapses are.

To help you guys out just a bit I want to use my musical knowledge and attach music I like on my posts on here. Maybe it'll get you interested in genres you might not have been interested in. I've gotten back into jazz so I'll but in a jazz tune on this post.

Hi everyone. I've been having a pretty bad week. Haven't watched P exactly, but I have been watching some vids on YouTube that and then MO'ing later.

Back to day one again. Wondering if you guys have any ideas of what to do when you feel yourself sliding back into the danger zone on your phone or computer?
 
Day 83

Just a quick update, I'm doing alright. I saw the short film I did the score for last night and it was such a weird feeling watching it. I made my score before the filming happened so to hear what I made when it was created out of context to see it on screen in context is really bizarre. It's only on my friends' Facebook but the responses have been overwhelmingly positive. I'm quite proud of my friend for directing and writing and myself for doing a good job. Though I made it a month ago and I feel like now with the knowledge and practice I have now I could do better.
It is what it is and it's good. Remember to keep learning and keep moving forward guys!:emoji_thumbsup:
 
Back to day one again. Wondering if you guys have any ideas of what to do when you feel yourself sliding back into the danger zone on your phone or computer?

The biggest problem is if you don't have a precise plan / target for what you want to do on your computer or mobile phone. Then you automatically slide into bad content at some point. Just looking in out of boredom is basically just a shift in addiction. Set yourself clear goals. When you turn on your PC, what do you want to do? And if you just want to spend time on e.g. YouTube then set yourself at least a time limit. Otherwise I can only recommend to spend as little time as possible on your mobile or PC and to use your time well. Or to use the PC for e.g. courses. Learn a new language or instrument. Improve your skills in what you can do. Train. Don't let boredom arise and don't fill up boredom with meaningless content. This satisfies the brain with dopamine as badly as any other addiction. At the end of the day, the urge to watch pornography can arise from dissatisfaction without having seen anything sexual.

At least that is my experience so far.
When it's almost too late - write something down in this forum or help others here. Use the emergency button. Take a cold shower. Go outside. Take a deep breath, whatever. Try some things out and stick to what works best for you.

Guys it’s been a few more days since my last post..still feeling pretty blah. Urges are there.. I guess? Mostly just really feel removed. Maybe I’m flatlining? Although I don’t know how I’d be flatlining this early. Anyway will keep you guys posted. Keep fighting the good fight

Thanks man I really appreciate it. Yeah I've gotten into a few bad habits with quarantine like just zoning out and watching The Office for hours on end to fill my boredom. Easily slips to YouTube and before you know it, I'm not where I shoud be.

I fell again this morning. It's 4am where I am, and I just spent a bucket on a camsite for about an hour. Feels like shit man. I'll try what you said. Thanks again.
 
Day 2 check in . Its Difficult to beat porn during Lockdown still I wont loose any hope and I will continue the fight till I get to my goal
