    Is it possible to have a girlfriend without having sex with her? Im seeing various posts of people in relationships while doing nofap but am wondering how is this a thing? Is it not the sex that differentiates a boyfriend girlfriend dynamic from a male female friendship?

    For me, NoFap is about quitting porn. So sex is not a problem in doing NoFap. Also, some people don't have sex before marriage. It's up to each couple to decide for them.

    so what if your like me and cant have sex becuase of PIED and are doing nofap to be able to have sex again? do you think its possible to have a girlfriend even though we are not having sex?

    It depends on who you go out with and what is your relationship. But is is possible and PIED is not for ever.

    Like someone has said nofap is about rebooting your brain to get over the porn addiction, it is not so concerned about sex but some also to decide to stay off sex during this reboot period.

    When it comes to relationships it depends on what you want from the relationship, many want a sexual relationship to satisfy their desires. There are some especially those who want life partner who may decide not to have sex because it tends to be a better way of truly getting to know your partner before marriage.

    Yes you can if both agree to have that kind of relationship.
    No it isn't, when I was 14..15 in the 90's all the couples were sexless at that age. There are man/woman that want to keep it to marriage. There are also woman/man that don't enjoy sex at all.. they are fine with just kissing and spending time together.
    It depends completely on the woman. If she think sex is important and don't want to wait for you to recover then a relationship is not posibble. There are woman that are going to wait for you without sex into the relationship, but if you don't heal they can dump you after a time. There are other that are going to be with you no matter what, it could be because they don't really have any desire to have sex with you or she is commited to be with you till the end no matter what.

    I was in a relationship where i was concerned about it being too sex oriented. My partner understood how i felt and we abstained to focus more on the personal connection we felt for each other. But it really comes down to how much a partner places value on sex and their personality, everyone is different. Best thing to do is to communicate well and be patient.
