200+ days no PMO, 5 days no P

I turn 18 in 15 days. I've jerked off 4 times since then.

I started making an actual attempt to stop jerking off January 1st, 2016. I averaged 10-16 PMO's a month, with probably 20-23 times looking at porn a month. Then September arrived. It was the beginning of my senior year of high school, and I was determined to make it a good one. I was playing soccer, and was the starting goalie. I noticed very quickly a relation between resets and physical ability in games or practices. I loved the guys on my team, I had a duty to be at my best for them. So that was when I really started making progress saying no to PMO. My physical ability started to improve. We had our best year ever, and I made some of the most amazing feats of athleticism I ever have. We succeeded. We lost in the section quarterfinal game 1-0, one of our best games ever.
Now, those boys are playing in the section SEMIFINAL game tonight, starting in 10 minutes. I feel like I should be there for those boys. I had, and still have, a devotion to them as a bro. Since that final game, which was almost exactly a year ago, I have fapped 6 times. It's been over 200 days since my last jerk off to porn.

Life is so much more worth living when you have a reason to get up and be the best you can be. Then, my reason were those boys, who have gone up up and away since I left that team last mid-October. Now, I do it for my growth as a human being. I desire to fulfill my potential and be the best person I can be. I'm much more optimistic and outgoing than I was a year ago. I have some very close friends who are girls. I set myself up to have reminders constantly that porn is evil and PMO is worse. My computer background is a Fight The New Drug picture saying "You deserve better than porn." My phone backgrounds are Calvin and Hobbes (actually my profile picture) and a picture of me with four of my closest friends. I wake up and listen to poetry and historical on-this-day notes. I have a cup of coffee and I make a decision to spend today being better than who I was the day before.

I'm eating healthier than I was a year ago. I drink pop and eat unhealthy-ish foods as a decadence and a privilege. I try to spend an hour every day listening to good music and wondering about stuff.

    All thanks to those boys.
