Third shot at NoFap after failing twice before

Hi fellow Fapstronauts,
I have decided to take massive action to get rid of my bad habits in relation to porn and masturbation, and I think the NoFap community would really help me as I was pretty much winging it on my own the last two times during which I failed.

I am currently 23 years old, and have been involved with PMO since the age of 15. When I look back, the days of abstinence from PMO before the two aforementioned tries have been minimal.

I feel that PMO really has been holding me back from achieving my true potential-be it in my career, education, social life, gym, close relationships with parents, aunts and uncles, and intimate relationships with women. Although my success with girls has been decent enough, the length of intimate relationships has been somewhat short-lived with my longest relationship lasting for about 2 months. I always get easily bored with such pursuits and always have found the laptop screen to be more exciting.

I also was recently laid-off from my finance job, that paid really well, but involved working long hours and also studying for certified finance degrees. PMO really latched me onto a state whereby I would have to put in twice the effort to study or perform the same tasks than many of my colleagues, and the motivation felt like a ghost lost in the abyss, never to be found.

I know that PMO can't be blamed in entirety but I know for a fact that PMO has held me back a lot over the past years of my life and now I have signed a contract with myself to follow-up with the requirements of NoFap in order to become a better, cleaner, and healthier version of myself so that I get a chance to take control of my life and live it on my own terms- in a wholesome and effective manner.

The two times that I tried NoFap had me boasting of a streak of 43 days and then a streak of 10 days respectively. I know I can do much better than that, and I am sure with your help, I would be able to do just that.

With this post, I would like to mark the start of a new journey in my life, and would like to thank you all for welcoming me into the community. I hope we are able to get the best out of ourselves and out of each other.
