Mine is tomorrow, I also had 2 months to study but I wasted it doing nothing and now even if I start studying, it won't make a difference.I have no idea about it and the syllabus is so huge that even 2 months will be less for it and this exam is going to decide weather I'm going to be promoted or not, let's see what happens.

    I have to go to study now, have to bring at least passable marks. But it's getting very difficult with the thoughts of porn in my brain.

    Have you ever tried to know what's the cause of this, the condition you described here from which we are suffering is called paraphilia, there are several types of paraphilia, transvestic(cross dressing), voeyurism(watching other people have sex), zoophilia(non-human animals), fetishtic disorder, sexual sadism etc.
    The only thing we can do is to stay away from Porn otherwise it can get way worse. It's sad to see porn is ruining so many relationships and lives, but remember it's never too late. I hope everything gets better for everyone who is suffering from this, life is double challenging for us, But we can do it.

  5. Yeah, it's hard to just choose not to feel shame. You kind of have to change your whole mindset, and that takes time. But shame is definitely an emotion that you want to avoid.

    damn man.. same here!! had two months to study and nothing to show for it! and i did the same too on the day i relapsed! clicked the links again while cleaning up my history!

    but with a bit of luck exams have been postponed today. The dates haven't been published yet but its a chance for me score good marks, i wanna try my best to score good marks at least this time( exams have been postponed twice now and both times i wasted the extra time). lets see.

    I gave one of my exam today and right now I'm evaluating how much I am going to score, I just want to get promoted this year, from the next session I will give my 100% to it. This Covid lockdown has ruined my productivity, I was a good scorer since my childhood and have never struggled to score good marks but this year it's getting hard. I hope everything goes well.
    I will try to utilize all the time I have left and focus on my next exam and you too focus on your studies, don't procrastinate and score well.

    Actually, I don't have my personal phone and I don't use my PC, I am using my laptop and I keep it turned on most of the day because that's where I'm studying and doing all of my work. BTW I don't think there is a NoFap app but you can use your mobile phone's browser to use it, I'm not also much active here but I do check it out once in a while.

    I thought it must be a laptop. I m on a laptop too, just one with real messed up batteries so I gotta plug it in all the time, so defeats the purpose of laptops lol.
    Hmm yea maybe i ll build an app for it someday if I use my time wisely and study properly.

    My laptop's battery is poor too I'm also thinking to replace it but It's okay to do regular work on it. Try to buy a new battery otherwise it's not a laptop but a computer.

    i m doing Btech CSE, I m into Designing, drawing and that kindof artsy stuff where you get creative. But that was expensive as hell and CS was the second option and I guess building apps lets you be creative to some extent. let see! for now, getting through nofap is the goal.

    Are you learning any programming languages? I'm self learning to become a web and app developer, In 2020 I spent my quarantine learning 3D animation using Blender and that was really cool, skill worth to learn and it also promotes one's creativity. I have realized that at that point of time I was less engaged to porn because I was so much indulged in learning programming and 3D modeling. I've come across a channel named "***" which I'm pretty sure you must be knowing about it and it suggests that to break any bad habit we have to work on ourselves to build new good habits. Getting through NoFap is the primary goal but at the same time we should try to improve ourselves and become more productive by learning and improving our skills and this also adds meaning to our lives.
    Right now I've decided that along with No PMO, I will focus on my studies, programming and on building my body(yeah, I'm pretty skinny. I've lost a lot of weight past few years due to my super low appetite and excessive of masturbation and now I'm on my recovery)

    I m doing a 14 day nofap challenge with a guy from nofap on whatsapp. lets see how that goes. I didn't take it seriously as i was prioritizing my exams back them , but now that its postponed I ll be focusing more on that. I ve got a list set up on codo app for everyday and strike off each day as I complete it. ( striking off day 2 in 2 hours yay!)
    On the 14th day I wanna reward myself with something for completing the challenge. Nothing too big cause 14 days is only a milestone and I believe true recovery only happens after 90 days.

    I m looking at ideas suggested on this website if anyones interested.

    They got some good stuff that I like, but keep in mind that watching a movie, kicking back with a lazy day, taking too much time off for enjoyment defeats the purpose cause it doesn't align well with the goal of nofap.
    I'll update here once I've decided on a reward for myself.

    I've also installed an app called stayfocused and I m locking my phone away for 12 hours at a time for two weeks. It basically locks out the phone for a fixed time and will only allow you to make calls plus use some apps you chose( WhatsApp, clock, calendar, banking apps, calculator, workout app, meditation app,the task list on codo app, reboot recovery app,two music training apps)
    I know those are drastic measures but I feel I need rn. Atleast to get a headstart. The first two weeks have always been the toughest to get through. I d love to take longer breaks from my phone but my snapstreaks won't allow that lol. So i plan to keep taking breaks one after other after updating the streaks or checking up with friends.
    and I ve set up 10 mins per hour usage restrictions on all social media apps so that I won't get lost in it after a break session is over. Plus 3 hours max screen time restrictions is setup.
    These are the new thing I ve set up, which I actually did to help me focus on my exams but I feel it will help me on nofap too..

    plus I hope the stuff I've already been using would helps too.. pornblocker VPN ( also blocks IG and YT), google safesearch locks, browser extensions, etc).

    None of this would help if I dont help myself and that's the hard part. Lets see. If anyone got any tips, do let me know.

    yes I absolutely I agree. I ve seen the video on *** and boy is he right. I spent the quarantine on learning programming courses on Coursera , made some short music covers for IG, and some other stuff as well and having that to do sure helped nofap. I feel one should replace pon with something cause nofap creates a big void in our life. I'd like to start learning on 3D modeling as well. I ve had fusion360 installed but never got around to using it cause of well pon, and also its heavy on my device. Is blender better? I ve got 6 GB extended ram and good graphics but processor is a Pentium dual core. wdyt?
    I wish to start again once I ve got a good streak going. Perhaps you could site me to a few sources to learn it??

    You have made the right move but my strategy is a bit different, You can distance yourself from all these things but many times it becomes very difficult to resist the temptations when things happens unexpectedly, Like an attractive girl passing by you then you can't block that you can't run away from it and it becomes even worse when you are experiencing high urges. These are obviously helpful in a short run but in a long run this method sometimes fails. The problem is not in outside of the world but inside of our brain, we have been feeding ourselves high dosage of dopamines for years, now our brains are used to it, if we won't provide more dopamine to it, it will constantly send signals to our brains to watch porn again and again, no matter how many times you try to ignore these thoughts, not today or tomorrow but maybe after few days you just won't be able to resist it. If we treat this problem from the root then we don't have to do all these things. This has to be treated at psychological level, think of an example of 2 person, One who gets distracted by even looking at a provocative image on the newspaper and is trying to run away from women and his triggers, and there is another person who is among a bunch of girls who are wearing very provocative dress but still doesn’t objectify them and continues to focus on his work without getting distracted. So we have to train our brain in such a way that whatever happens we don't get deviated. And it is very difficult to do this, first of all, whenever you see a girl just bounce off your eyes to another direction(this is very helpful and this really reduces 70-80% of your urges), engage ourselves in work whole day(we should not sit idle at our free time), meditate(this is one of the most important thing for getting control over our thoughts and our mind), even avoid less dopamine triggering activities(like, Watching movies, playing games, listening music etc.) and engage more in uninteresting activities like reading books and studying this actually increases our will power and will provide huge control over our actions, in this we can rewire our brain. There are few more things but what you just have to do is to do what you wrote in the above answer along with what I've said here, in this way you will be able gain control over your condition both internally and externally.
    This time I've decided to go on Hard mode because I know this short period of pain will give me sweet fruits in future. I've decided to Never ever relapse. This is it.
    You and me are on the same day streak, on the same level and in the same situation, wanna compete with me? I know it's hard but it's not impossible, just imagine getting rid of porn and masturbation forever and all the benefits you would get later. All your dreams will come true as soon as you get rid of it.
    And If you are in, be honest with me and now I know you very well. If you would lie, you won't be able to get out of this.

    Well minimum specifications for blender is 4GB Ram so 6GB would work fine, Dual Core CPU is minimum requirement but In blender for rendering graphics you can either use CPU or Graphics Card or both combined, so you can share the CPU load with GPU and it will absolutely work fine. I have even used blender on PC with 3GB RAM & without graphics card(although I wasn't able to render it) comparing with this, your specs looks great.
    Coming towards, which is better Fusion360 or Blender? both are bit different from each other, both have pros and cons, Blender is primarily used for Making 3D modeling, Sculpting, Animations, VFX, Games while Fusion360 for Engineering Simulation, Basic animation and for 3D printing.
    In terms of ease I think you will find Fusion360 easier to get started with and you may find Blender's UI very confusing.
    But the only reason I would recommend you to choose Blender over any other 3D modeling software is that Blender has a huge community, there are millions of course of Blender on YT and it is also a free an open source software.
    Sources to learn?
    I mean you could not learn using Blender just by reading it's documentations, a video course might be helpful for you to get started, my favorite channels are Blender Guru, CG Geek and BornCG, you can check out their beginners playlist and follow along with them.

    yea you are 100% right my friend, and I should have probably known this , blocking it out never works period! , I ve relapsed again, and that too so early in the morning! I wanna beat myself down rn but I know that will never work. but I am a bit frustrated at myself, prolly a bit sad too. I woke up early to study but ended up relapsing..and all the blockers and stuff were not set for such early hours and the for the ones that were set up I got around it cause I had intense urges all through the night.

    No point being whiny about it.

    I m just gonna focus on not binging today cause that has always been the routine for me after a relapse. hopefully I can keep it down to just a one time relapse which is loads better than where i used to be. Lets see. I m starting on meditation again today, just 10 min sessions for starters cause thats what i saw on ***.

    dont let your streak fall bro! its not a good feeling. Just remember me being like this whenever you got urges.

    I used to do that years ago lol. Not all the way through though because I got too lazy and would just crank it. Always had a belly too. I just thought it was cool cause everyone I asked couldn’t do it.
