    154 Days..
So I am well into NoFap, and I've experienced some benefits, but I cannot get into those now. Ever since about 30 days in, I've been experiencing extreme mood swings, depression, anxiety, and social anxiety(isolation). It's gotten to the point where I am scheduling a visit with a psychologist. I wake up every day and dread going to high school, because I'm always worried that I'll be in a terrible mood and antisocial. Some days are good, but it seems like I've gotten to the point where I expect things to be bad. I hate being like this, but I will say this:
I will take feeling like this any day over where I was 5 months ago; I like feeling everything (emotion-wise), I just wish it was a little happier.

I can't seem to find anyone who has gotten this far and is still dealing with withdrawals, so that leads me to believe that it is something else. Anyone have any advice?
Should I seek therapy? Is this normal?

    Thanks in Advance!

Hey dude its pretty normal, unless your diagnosed with bipolar. i went through the same thing as you. I had severe anxiety that affects my breathing, but im still here, toughing it out. Its worth the pain becuase the more you tough it out the less strong it gets as the days goes by. I feel happy and in a calm mood after my anxiety wave goes and comes back.

  3. Abstaining from PMO is a fantastic part of working towards well-being, but not the only factor. Wellbeing and contentment are the result of seeking physical, emotional and spiritual health. One thing won't cure everything.

Some ideas on on pursuing wellbeing...
Physical Health - eating well, exercising, keeping clean, abstaining from habits that harm the body (PMO, alcohol, drugs)
Mental Health - cognitive exercises, counselling, meditation
Emotional Health - journaling, doing kind acts, practising patience and kindness with others, gratitude, thinking of good and detaching from negative
Intellectual Health - educating yourself, reading, discussing ideas, seeking knowledge
Spiritual Health - prayer, meditation, reading spiritual scriptures, learning about different religions and spiritual traditions, serving humanity, volunteering, focusing on higher values and detaching from self, abstaining from acts that harm the soul (talking about others behind their back, PMO, giving in to apathy or cruelty)

All these things really blend into each other to form a healthy, whole human being.

Good luck on your journey :)
