Only now, reading this site, I discover that what I have been doing my entire life is prone masturbation. My case is also very peculiar, in which I have masturbated prone my entire life, could never reach orgasm any other way, but still got married and had kids.

Hi Saz, Yes you can try this method (60 days hard mode + masturbate without porn). During the 60 days, try to touch your penis as little as possible, try to avoid any erotic imagery (even with clothes) and I recommend meditation + kegels to prepare you. Also KEEP BUSY! However, my prediction is that it will still require some effort at the 60 day mark to achieve orgasm, especially without any visual stimulation. You may still get ED and have DE but it varies person to person. Just don't revert to prone out of frustration, if things get tough. Who knows, you might achieve it after 10-15 minutes, it depends on you. On the first session, use lube (especially if circumcised), find your sweet spots and really try to experience the sensations.

My personal worries with this technique is, can you really go 60 days NoFap? You need to be honest with yourself or you will pro-long your chances of success. Also i still think ED is the likely outcome, because 1) I feel 60 days is not enough time to reset yourself & 2) Your penis may still require high amounts of stimulation to stay hard and feel pleasure. Gonna jump in here. 19 year old about 1 week into nofap. started prone at 14, noticed issues with orgasm about a year ago. I suffer from DE but not ED (something that I’m sure would crop up if I continued prone) and most times, in sexual encounters with women (I’m not a virgin), and when attempting conventional masturbation, I approach orgasm in a normal period of time (7-10min) but can never finish, which I now attribute to my prone masturbation. I never thought of myself as addicted to porn (previously masturbated 3 times a week, but obv would still like to get it to 1). Is it better to just continue going forward with nofap or to shift to what has been suggested here? I am a 31 year old circumcised man who has been masturbating prone for around 16/17 years. Only around 7/8 years ago, I started having sex more regularly and realised I had an issue. Getting/maintaining my erection has never been a problem (luckily by the sounds of it) and I can stay erected for a long time, and although I do pre cum, I can never get any further when with a girl, and obviously I wasn't happy with this. I'd recommend NoFap in the mean time, but you need to give your body time to recover. For example, someone who is obese cannot diet for a few weeks or even months and expect to be at a healthy weight. It can take some time, as we are trying to undue years of bad habit. You are lucky that you only engaged in it for 5 years. It seems as if your problem may be psychological or that you have come to accustom to your masturbation technique. This is why I now believe regular masturbation is as bad as porn (even if its 3-4 times a week). But that's my personal belief. How hard are you gripping and how fast? You want to adjust it to a slower, loose grip ideally. Personally, I think 90 days of NoFap + Meditation will solve your case.

Hi,
9 days should be enough, but understand that it could take up to 2 hours so you need to be very patient. This is why I have to unfortunately recommend porn because it allows you to stay aroused for that amount of time without giving up! Pre cum is a great sign and at this point you should begin to stroke a bit harder and faster (this is alright for the first few times). The first time achieving orgasm is the hardest! It will get easier. In my case it was 2 hours, then the next time was 1hr 30, then i started averaging 40, then it went down after that.

My advice is this: Go 14 days - Load up some HD Porn of the sexiest pornstar to you (i hate saying this but its needed lol)- load up a few videos to keep you excited - use lube to maximise pleasure (not spit or any substitutes) - now really experiment with the strokes, do some fast, some slow, some tight grip, some loose grip, really try to find your sweet spots. Keep at it, everyone is different, DO NOT COMPARE YOURSELF TO ANYONE. The main issue is that you gave into the number 1 rule - DON'T RESORT TO PRONE! I know its difficult i've been there. It took blood, sweat and tears.

I can relate a lot to your story.. the damage prone caused to my relationships haunted me for many years, too the point where I developed performance anxiety and even lost desire to talk to girls. This only worsened my problem due to its psychological effects.

You proned for a very similar time to myself and its 95% likely that you haven't caused any permanent or irreversible damage to your 'ejaculatory duct'. Sadly my friend, in this battle, porn is your friend. I hate to say it but without it, i don't think i would of been able to cum in the early stages. You can quit it and go on NoFap after you have fixed this, which is exactly what many people do. Also, how long did you attempt to masturbate for and was you using lube?

If you want a mindset you need to believe that its only a matter of time before you cum, you just need to keep at it. If you can't do it in 2 hours, have a break for a few days and try again. Congratulations Brother! All the best for you and your child! If its a boy, I'd recommend not circumcising him, making sure he never has the issue of phimosis (can be linked with prone) and that you give him "the talk" on healthy masturbation. Congratulations on achieving conventional masturbation for the first time! If your feeling sensitivity now, wait until 6 months, your erections will be harder and you'll probably take around 2-7 minutes to cum. Just 20 minutes is amazing though, I envy you haha.. it took me 2 hours lol.

Jokes aside, regarding the death grip, It's alright to use it in the first few attempts because it is still less that what you were originally doing (i.e. thrusting into the bed/mattress/pillow). But follow my death grip plan on the article when you feel you are ready. In the mean time i'd recommend enjoying this current method for a week or 2, and then slowly start decreasing the level of speed and how hard you are gripping. Start with going slower and lighter when you feel you are about to ejaculate (so when you are around 90% there). Then do it at 80%, then 70%, etc. You'll be surprised at how your penis can adapt to new methods, after all you managed to do conventional in just 20 minutes!
