I actually think it's just our limbic system (Reptile part of our brain) that doesn't want us to win because it's addicted to dopamin. Our prefrontal cortex wants what we truly desire.

Well like a light switch we have to turn it off and turn the right switch on(love, wife, better life, happiness, contentment...etc), we just need to know how.

Yeah, you're right. I actually think we can choose which switch we want to turn on and we can use the power of our reptile part of the brain for other things.

We just have to figure out how, but being here is the first step, 2nd step is asking ourselves, "do we realky want to quit this behavivor?", 3rd step is finding ways to away from this behavivor and carrying through until we're not interested in it any longer.

Thx, I know out of all the steps I listed step 1 & 2 is the easiest. Step three is hard cause like you know masturbation looks and feels good and gives us pleasure and no matter what it is in life it's always hard to quit something that you love and enjoy.

But think of the negative effects of masturbation and porn and why you want to quit and it should outweigh the reason why you want to give in.

It's kinda crazy because you don't really love it. But you say to yourself that you love because of the short feeling it gives you. It's just kinda stupid. But I will keep going no matter what.

    Day 5:

Urges were stronger today. Maybe because the day didn't go as planned and I found myself sitting on my Computer not doing much.

    I'm keeping up the fight.

    Yes! Keep up the fight!

Yesterday, my urges were overwhelming; I thought I would go insane.

Yet, I got through the night. The urges faded, and I'm at ease now.

We must remember that those bad spells do pass

My days never go as planned. Such is life.

I've been idle in front of my computer after bad days, and we know that is dangerous.

It's always better for us to be out in the real world.

    Stay strong!

Thanks man. Really appreciate it. I had crazy dreams this day. They were not lucid but in my dreams I started watching porn and masturbating. I woke up multible times and then dreamt the same stuff again. But when I finally woke up I was ok and I had no desire.

The neural pathways for PMO are still hardwired into our brains.

After we try to turn them off while we are awake, they get activated when we sleep.

Let the brain do what it wants, and ignore it.

As I said before, what we do during our waking hours is what counts.

Through this rebooting, that wiring in the brain will get disconnected because of disuse.

The PMO pathway will close and disintegrate.

    The brain wave will stop.

That is what this rebooting is to accomplish.

We must be patient for all of these changes to occur.

This is frustrating, but we must learn to live with the pain which comes with healing and change.

    Day 6 and 7

Forgot to do this yesterday. Yesterday the urges were stronger than before and I thought about doin it again. But at the end I always ended up saying to myself: "Do you really want to go back to this?"
It worked and I was strong.

Today was even harder and at one point I started touching my dick but then I did the same thing like yesterday and stopped.

Looking forward to tomorrow. I have a busy week before me.

Man, one day it will be easier. I have to erase all this stuff from my brain.

I will live a life free of this. It's just over. It's time to enjoy life and accomplish my goals.

Keep going!!!! I think that if you don't over think about porn/masturbation then those "dreams" might not happen as much as they do.

    Stay strong!!!!

    Day 8

The dreams about watching porn stopped and I had a really productive day. Didn't everything I wanted but still worked my ass off.
Trained the whole morning and worked on projects in the afternoon.
I'm kinda tired but I'm really happy.
Had almost no urges today. Didn't feel ANY need to do it.

I could get used to this.

    Day 9

Was a good day. Did almost everything I wanted to.

    Day 10

Day 10 was a solid day of work. Had to sleep in the afternoon because I was really tired. Then in the evening I did a second kickboxing training. It was great.
