I have the same problem!

 

By his own rules he looses the duel.

I give permission to continue with another opponent, just if he comes back on a streak, get back to the duel with him.

He is never regular and really is quite normal. Being on the forum too often is not a good thing.

@Still Balling I have had the same issue with caffeine for the last few years. For me it’s just as important to quit that as PMO!

 

if you need an opponent… I’ll happily take you on as mines gone awol. I’m sure I can fight two at once till (if!!) @HiddenWarrior returns!

@adbread - can your score table cope with that?

 

I think it's against the rules, because:
The meaning of duel is:
a combat between two persons
refrence: https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/duel

But If you wanna end your current duel, I think I can give you 10 points for winning (Each one month +5 points as @Redemptionisrequired said before!)

 

If I can take as a win… I’m happy to end! Seems a bit pointless to have a missing opponent indefinitely!

 

Do you think we should give scores to the loser of long-term duel, also?
In my opinion, it is logical and it is not
It makes long duels more motivating
But the meaning of a duel in my mind is that one loses everything and one wins a good prize
we could give the winner +3 points for winning and the loser will give -1
but both of them will give +5 points for each month they were in the duel.

 

I’m inclined to agree with your view… but there are others here who’ve been around longer than me you should ask - I’m just a newbie! ;-)

 

Unfortunately, these days they are not very active
I will implement this method, if they disagree, it will correct the ranks according to their opinion.
