Not such a mountain after all. Anyway, make sure you do everything promptly - when you receive it.

Also, note that when you keep busy you get no urges (or very few). There are always productive things you can do - bake a cake or do something else to help your family around the house. You have less to do with the Scouts now, so make sure you have some definite things to do with that time.

    Yup! Thanks IGY.

I felt like not doing any assignment today, because I am technically ahead. In a motivational video I was listening to a few days ago, the speaker says that if you want to stay in first place, or if you want to stay successful, you must still have the mind set that you haven't reached that position yet. So, for example: You are running a race. You get into first place. You need to have the mindset of whoever would be in second to stay first.

I was proud of myself today. For the first time in a while I wasn't eyeballing the women that I am usually around. Even though most were wearing revealing clothing, I didn't let my eyes wonder! I know I am only 13 days in, but this is sign of improvement right?

Yes, it's a sign of improvement, but don't get caught off guard bud!

    Alright everyone,

I haven't done a writing exercise in a while, and staying on top of all my transgressions is really important in this healing process.

I promise, I will share it with you within a few hours.

    Here's what I promised:

    Triumphs:

    Keeping busy,
    Staying Motivated,
    Not dwelling on temptation,
Making a plan for the summer (So I don't just waste time)

    Set-Backs:

    Not reading the bible,
Not praying as often as I should,
    Not meditating,
    Dwelling on depressing thoughts.

    Conclusion:
I am very scared that I will fall back into an unproductive depression. I am on such a roll. I miraculously, despite recent events, by the grace of God, made it through the end of Junior year in high school. I am trying to do the important stuff now that I am older. I am working on getting my driving permit. Soon, I'll start studying for my Eagle Scout board of review (interview where they decide if they'll make you an eagle scout). I am a little bit too busy. I have forgotten to make time with God, as stated above in my list of set-backs.

    Writing exercise

    Triumphs:

    *Keeping busy
*Giving up social media for a week (The ones I have are: Facebook and Snapchat. I am also limiting my phone use)
    *Prayerful through the storms
    *Keeping calm

    Set-Backs:

    *Low Motivation
*Neglecting the use of essential oils
    *Neglecting Bible reading

    Conclusion:
Looks good. I have more triumphs than set-backs. Although, the low motivation and neglecting the use of oils and bible reading are what have toppled me in the past. I will motivate myself, ingest some healthy oils, and read some chapters in the bible.

Perhaps the best way to do Bible readings is to prioritize it. You could set an alarm for when you will read it. When it rings, go straight to it, for fifteen minutes or however long you need. Hopefully, making time for God will improve other areas of your life, so that you have motivation, plans for the summer, etc.

I'll set an alarm. My habit for bible reading is right before bed, but now that summer break is here, I have been going to bed really late, and have been too tired to read. I'll set an alarm for earlier (10:00 p.m.)

Now 42 days, the meaning of the universe. A bigger congrats on your Eagle Scout Award, that's great! Was it the board of review or the ceremony?

I will let you know when the Court of Honor is, and I'll email pictures!

Things are going great! Its 46 days, and this is the longest I've been in months! I'm celebrating the milestone by going moonlight fishing one of these days. Maybe tomorrow or so. I have been doing good, and I've just been reminding myself my old defense patterns of dealing with urges:

    *Use essential oils
*Pray. For yourself, and others in similar situations
*Mmmm... I forgot... I should look at my old posts.

I am delighted to see you going from strength to strength Squeaky Soul. This is like the good old days when you were a real NoFap stalwart. You are now demonstrating the sort of commitment and dogged determination many of us remember you for. You had some very, very difficult things to deal with earlier this year and they took their toll. But you are looking good now and hauling ass on your journey. YEE-HAA! :)
