    I changed the "award" tiers. You'll have to do 14 days to place in tier 4. Shouldn't be a problem because we're all making it to January, right? :emoji_heavy_check_mark:

    I would like to hear your thoughts on sexual fantasies (which are basically porn in playing in your head) whether its ok or is it really almost as bad as porn itself.

    Because I stopped watching porn and havent been watching for quite some time now (last around april this year), but my fantasies are still the same and basically creating my own porn, but intstead playing it on some platfrom I play it in my head.
    Today fantasies are getting stronger so I am more careful and trying to control it.
    I realized how fucked up fantasies I have. When I masturbate I never fantasize about past sexual experiences but always playing a fucked up story in my head, watching it from 3rd person - exactly like porn - and the fantasies always contain some twisted shit.

    I know I am not the only one. Would like to here your experiences/point of view.

    Otherwise I am doing fine -> fantasies getting stronger -> using deep breaths and trying to be busy as much as possible -> I am aware I cant follow trough on my fantasies, its just thoughts and I can control them. Also my goal is to slowly get rid of it, because I believe these fantasies are basically the same as porn, maybe light version.

    I accept this challenge. I am happy you put chatrooms on the list as this is my biggest temptation these days. I gave up video porn and pornographic pictures sometime ago, but chatrooms get me still, iv been struggling with them this year. Let's go

    Welcome to the challenge. Yup, we need to stay away from the "slippery slope" ways that we start innocently but end up in MO or PMO.

    Looking at non sexual images but really seeking that "rush" is a bad thing. Chatting in sexting rooms gives that same rush. We are aiming to reboot our brains and get to where face to face , consensual, intimate conversations and touching and or sexual activity is achieved without the burdens of performance anxiety, erectile dysfunction, obsessive & compulsive behaviors, etc.

    Bottom line - choose your goals and stay within your boundaries.

    Thanks man, I want to reboot again, I'm going for the rest of the year without any sexual stimulation, no pictures, videos, audio, chatrooms.. Nothing. And of course no masturbation either.
    2021 is probably going to be a tough year, what with world events as they are. I will need to be sexually disciplined

    Good to see many Fapstronaut joining the challenge. Gaining confidence.

    Feeling like I have already got rid of PMO. I am not afraid of the flat line or the withdrawal pangs. Withdrawal pangs appear only if you keep yourself idle. Be occupied by something. I am just filling my free time with productive tasks like reading books, learning a course online, chatting with my friends and others.

    Those who find it difficult to quit try the book by Allen Carr's on addiction. I have been reading it for some time now. It has given me some better insight into reboot. It might help you as well.

    Completed day 3 marching on day 4.

    Filling time is key. Although I won't lie, my relapses come upon me in the blink of an eye sometimes.

    I have question about fantasizing. Interested in your opinion guys.
    Do you think when you fantasize, basically playing the porn scenes you recall in your head, is the same as porn?
    Do you see difference between fantasizing, remembering previous sex encounters, and just recalling the porn scenes you saw some day?

    Tommy I used to have a big problem with reliving real life stuff and or "replaying porn" in my head. It seems to have subsided much now. My biggest problem is chaser effect after being with my wife and replaying that.

    To answer your question, I don't think it is a "problem" in itself, however if it is leading to acting out then that is an issue. Kissing my wife is not bad. Looking and admiring is not bad. Touch her bottom is not in itself bad. But if I lose self control, and want more, don't get more, then act out solo with or without P....well now there's a problem.

    NoFap is primarily built around the "your brain on porn" neurochemistry science stuff. Seeing hundreds of actors/actresses playing out increasingly more "fetish laced" sex or unrealistic human interaction is a cause for brain chemical changes and other problems. I don't think recalling that one night with partner X in your dorm, house, car, etc is an unhealthy thing, bit if you are constantly going there or constantly MO to that thought then there's an issue with your behavior as a result you likely need to be shutting down the thoughts before they take power over you.

    I'm not huge on the science info. I've read it and watch videos but I can't articulate it well. Like the title of my journal 40s Dad, porn Bad, I take a simple approach to this.

    5 days complete, starting Day 6. This is a pretty big deal for me. Usually, days 3 and 4 I tend to weaken, but I have not had to endure that on this run, which ofcourse, is a good sign.

    I would say that most of my relapses occur in the blink of an eye. Having things to fill up our time is great, but the reality is that you can not fill out every minute of every day with stuff. In those times, we just need to know who we want to be.

    Exactly, I think reviewing the main WHYs we do NoFap is mega important + after each relapse learn smthing more about yourself and set your own strategy how to manage urges.
    I might start reviewing my WHYs everyday + everytime I feel like I cant continue.

    I think having sexual fantasies about "real" sex is absolutely fine.

    But I am having a lot of fucked up fantasies which are based on my favourite type of porn (abuse, bondage, gangbang,...) I never fantasize about me and the girl, its always 3rd person abusive shit. I noticed I almost cant finish myself without the abusive stuff.

    So thats the reason I am doing NoFap and I think this type of fantasizing is very bad for rebooting.
    Everytime thoughts come up, I take deep breaths and remind myself that its completely disgusting and I am basically treating the girl as sexual object -> one of other big benefits of nofap - > stopping the objectifying.

    So let me ask this? I'm sure the answer is yes, but the stuff you're watching in porn, the extra wild how long has it been? If it's recent you're still replaying it. That went away for me months ago. Even when I relapse, I might look up some porn, but it's not like it was last year with a constant instant replay on queue.
