i highly recommend incorporating side planks aswell. did them today after a long time and i noticed the difference in my core immediately. my posture, my control over my body and my mood got better by a lot. i feel comfortable in my skin, you could say i feel sexy af. lol
Thanks for sharing your experience! Beside the challenge I’m a power-lifter and I practice other workouts. I agree with you about the side plank! Sometimes I do this workout, which incorporates different types of plank: There’s also other workouts I posted before that are more difficult too, if you like to challenge yourself!
The one-minute advanced plank challenge looks easy quite, as in my muay thai training I was terrorized with around 20 minutes such plank routine that till I couldn't hold my hands at all still. I could try, as I most likely would not be able to hold as much as before, but I might join later on in for the challenge, but gonna see first how my health gonna hold and then, also a good challenge.
If you find it easy you can do more sets, or try this one: I do power lifting and martial arts: the plank challenge is a nice daily add at the end of trainings!
I paused for two days because my muscles were too sore after power-lifting. Today I restarted. Day 22: 3 min.
Might as well try this. Starting with the Day 1 twenty-second plank right after I finish typing this!
